What you need to know before you arrive at SplashDog

We highly recommend that you consult with your veterinarian before bringing your dog in for warm water therapy.

Please make sure your pup is brushed and clean before coming to SplashDog. A thorough brushing helps us reduce the amount of hair our specialized filter needs to trap as it works through the spa system.

Also make sure you dog has gone potty before their session. We will apply a surcharge to your visit if fecal matter is deposited in the pool. If this occurs we must clean and sanitize the pool, which may require cancellation of appointments that follow yours.

For the safety and respect of all our clients, we kindly ask that you wait in SplashDog’s receiving area and keep your dog on lead until you are escorted back to the pool area. When you exit the facility your dog must also be on lead.

Our pool is treated with low levels of bromine to keep it clean and safe.  The water temperature is kept at approximately 94 degrees, the optimum temperature for canine warm water therapy.

Towels and dryers are supplied, but you may want to bring an extra towel to have in the car for the ride home. Finally, we do accept personal checks, Visa and Master Charge.
